Todmorden was used as a backdrop for a film - it's called 'My Summer of Love'- released 2004 - it's very good. Hebden Bridge is a very pretty town 5 minutes drive up the valley has also been used as a location - 'Fanny & Elvis' starring Ray Winstone was filmed there. That was released in 1999. We've lived in both Todmorden and Hebden Bridge, and we like the whole valley generally. There are lots of places to go walking, some good shops, cafes and pubs. PS, Cesca, you can now get Lancashire tea! Have you ever tried it? Thanks for all your encouragement.

You live in a really beautiful town.... so many gorgeous buildings, galleries, shops and the landscape - you are both very lucky....oh how I wish I was in England right now (with a very large cheque book and a big van!!)... I would be over like a shot to buy loads of your goodies and have a nice cuppa Yorkshire with you both. I think you should definitely also work for the tourist board and make sure they see this.... amongst your many, many fabulous talents!
