Imperial Candles 100% natural soy wax candle in Calm Lavender

Have you noticed a change in me? Have you seen how calm & serene I’ve become recently? No? Well, just take my word for it. It’s all down to my new night-time regime.

Imperial Candles package arrived

Six weeks ago, a package arrived from Imperial Candles containing one of their 100% soy wax candles in Calm Lavender.

That evening, my bath-time routine took a turn for the better. Bath run, bubble bath poured, lights off, radio on, candle lit and (the occasional) glass of red wine.

I haven’t looked back, this has my daily wind-down routine ever since! The fragrance is amazing, I close my eyes and breathe deeply, the day’s stresses melting away. But wait, there’s more, the candle contains a little extra. Each candle is made with a beautiful ring (or earrings or necklace) wrapped up in foil and suspended within it.

It may be worth £10, it may be worth £2,000 – you won’t know until you’ve burned your candle to about a third of the way down and extracted the little package with tweezers. It took me 6 weeks of baths to get to this stage! As the saying goes, ‘good things come to those who wait’. Isn’t it beautiful?

Collection of Millet and More storage tins

Do you remember a while back we did a blog post featuring the fabulous food storage tins from millett and more? Well, Jill has kindly donated some of them as prizes to our readers.

Blue Millett and More cereal tin with a bowl of cereal

We’re really pleased to be able to offer these as a giveaway. We use our collection of tins on a daily basis – many times actually! We often start with cereal in the morning and use the spice and salt tins whenever we cook. They’re lovely designs and bring a touch of beauty to the everyday!

Our main winner will win a collection of four of the larger tins; comprising a white cereal tin, a blue cereal tin, a spice tin with blue letters and a spice tin with red/yellow letters. That’s not all! Two runners up will each win a pair of the small sliding salt tins (one of each design).

Limited edition Arcade table designed by Sam Baron for Just99 | H is for Home We have an absolutely gorgeous competition prize for you this month – it’s just too bad we can’t enter ourselves! 😉

Limited edition Arcade table designed by Sam Baron for Just99 | H is for Home Just99 has agreed to ‘furnish’ us with one of these beautiful, limited-edition Arcade tables to give away to one of our readers.

Limited edition Arcade table designed by Sam Baron for Just99 | H is for Home The Arcade was designed by Sam Baron exclusively for Just99 and retails at €189. The company, launched in the UK this February, hosts a selection of beautiful art work and interiors pieces for the home, created exclusively for them by international architects, designers, photographers and artists.

As their name suggests, only 99 units of an item are produced. Almost every week, a new product or edition is added to their website and, after all 99 are sold, that’s it – they’ll no longer be available, thus creating a ‘buzz’ and sense of desirability. If you’d like to the proud, new owner of one of these limited-edition Arcade tables, just tell us what room in your house the Arcade table would live.
