tails.com is a really well designed and easy to navigate website. Just enter your pet’s details and it will magically tell you what mix of food they need and how much of it makes a portion. A handy scoop is included to help you measure the amount correctly every mealtime. Each month, you’ll receive a new delivery before your current bag of food runs out. You can update, pause or cancel online at any time.

Yada, yada, yada – can we get on with trying out the food now?

Patience never was one of Fudge’s virtues, especially when it comes to food! He reminded us that it’s all well and good that the food is stuffed full of protein, vitamins and minerals, but is it tasty? We had to agree that the proof of the pudding is in the eating – so the waiting was over – and he genuinely loved it. Here he is devouring his bespoke dinner!

To win a month’s supply of tails.com tailor-made dog or puppy food leave a comment telling us the name, age and breed of your dog.

My Jolie Candle

Win a My Jolie Candle | H is for Home

A few weeks ago, we received a lovely parcel from My Jolie Candle. It was beautifully packaged and on opening the box, the aroma hit straight away – magical! The waft of caramel macaron made it almost good enough to eat.

Package received from My Jolie Candle | H is for Home

All the My Jolie candles are made from a mixture of natural vegetable and soy oils and waxes – no smoky, smelly paraffin here! The nine different scents are developed in Grasse, France; considered to be the perfume capital of the world. Here’s a 1-minute clip of the My Jolie candle story.

We’ve lit the candle a fair few times already and after more than 5 hours, the scent is still as strong as ever…

I’ve chosen a ring candle but there are still a fair few hours burning time left before I find out what it is or how much it’s worth.

To enter, simply tell us which one of the 9 scents available is your favourite. It’s that easy!

Get pinning with TeacherBoards!

Win a rainbow felt board from Teacherboards with H is for Home

A couple of months ago, we featured a TeacherBoards combi-board in one of our posts. We named it as our favourite because of its funky tangerine colour.

Today, we’re pleased to be able to offer one of our readers one of their rainbow felt boards as the prize in this month’s competition.

Take a scoot over to their website to have a look at the ‘rainbow’ of colours they’re available in, then come back to tell us in the comments section below which one you’d like to win and what you’d pin on it.

As usual, in addition to leaving a comment, there are a lot of other ways of entering the competition… and increasing your chance of winning!

Looking for the perfect companion?

Manor companion set from DirectFireplaces | H is for Home

Even though it’s been a relatively mild winter, our wood-burning stoves have been chuffing away for months. They produce enough heat to make a room comfortable without needing to put the central heating on. And, on really chilly days, they just give things a boost. A real fire also brings a room to life – flickering and crackling away, becoming the focal point. We couldn’t be without ours!

The three versions of the Manor companion set available at DirectFireplaces

It’s essential that a real fire has some fireside tools, so we’re pleased to be able to offer one of our readers a Manor companion set from DirectFireplaces. The set comprises dust pan, brush, log roller and pair of tongs on a metal stand. It’s available in 3 different finishes – black, black/pewter and black/brass. Because of its classic styling, it would look great in either a traditional or modern room.

To enter, just tell us in the comments section at the bottom of this page who or what is your perfect fireside companion. Very best of luck!

Divine Chocolate Fairtrade Fortnight competition | H is for Home

Fairtrade Fortnight logoThis month, we’re linking up with Divine Chocolate to commemorate Fairtrade Fortnight which began yesterday. It runs until 13 March and shines a spotlight on all the farmers around the world who are now thriving thanks to them receiving fair prices for their crops.

Divine is one of a growing number of companies who only use fairly traded ingredients in their products. Not only this, the company is 44% owned by the cocoa farmers so they receive a direct share of the profits.

If you like chocolate (and who doesn’t?) you can enter to win one of Divine’s tasting hampers – gift boxed & filled with 13 bars of delectable deliciousness! Even if you don’t like chocolate, you can still enter and, if you win, you can give it to a loved one as a present and score some (chocolate) brownie points!

Simply leave us a comment below telling us what is your favourite type of Divine Chocolate.
