It never occurred to me you’d be flooded. I haven’t been in blog/tweet land much lately with all the goings on at work so I miss so much. I need to get back into it all.

We have a guy at work who lives where you do and he wasn’t massively affected apart from closure of schools, travel and local businesses. You must be devastated?! You’re lovely house under inches of water must be heart breaking. I hope you haven’t lost anything that can’t be replaced and here’s hoping to a speedy ‘getting back to normal!’

It’s getting tiresome waiting for the whole insurance thing to be completed – then the work can begin at least! We just keep thinking about all the people in the world worse off than us – at least we have a home, our health and friends & family that have been so supportive!
