Something has dawned on me… included in the past three or four auctions that we’ve featured here on our Auction Alert series have been home bars and their accoutrements; bar carts, drinks trolleys, cocktail shakers… there must be something subliminal going on!
There’s a beautiful art deco cocktail cabinet going under the hammer at the upcoming Cotswold Auction’s Pictures, Antiques & Interiors – Two Day Sale at their Cirencester branch. The sale of lots are as follows:
- 25 Jan 2022, from 10am: lots: 1-999
- 26 Jan 2022, from 10am: lots: 1000+
There’s also a beautiful vintage pendant necklace with malachite cabochon that’s highlighted below. I’d love to be its new safe-keeper! In fact, I’d also purchase the shop counter table-top display unit that’s also on sale to house my vintage brutalist and Scandinavian jewellery collection. If it goes for its estimate of £30 – £50, it’s an absolute bargain!
There’s a buyer’s premium of 22% and a further 3% commission on the hammer price if you’re planning to bid online on their website. You can also bid online at EasyLiveAuction where there’s also a 3% charge or flat fee of £3.00.
