You tend to find wallpaper on walls, sometimes small pieces embellishing bits of furniture… however, this bedroom has wallpaper on the ceiling… and on the ceiling fan!
It looks simply amazing. I’m not the biggest fan (get it?) of ceiling fans, they can sometimes look a bit ugly. Camouflaging the blades with this patterned peel & stick wallpaper just makes them appear to melt away!
The room looks cool and breezy with its blue colour palette; the introduction of all the different shades stops it looking ‘matchy-matchy’ or over the top.
I knew straight away where the tasselled throw was from – the Antipodean company, Kip & Co – we featured a bedroom in one of the owners’ homes in this very series of blog posts a while ago. They produce the most eye-catching bedding.
The fish painting behind the bed was actually done by the owner of this home – isn’t she talented. It’s a quirky piece, and looks right at home on the wall here.
