Elizabeth Snow & Stephen Sheppard are the creatives behind new indie business, The Snow Sheppard. They design and make children’s play and interior décor items from sustainable birch plywood. The couple use much of their home as an online showroom, including this homely living space with its eye-catching geometric décor.
The first thing that attracted me to the image was the monochrome tiled splashback. The second? The perfectly matched wall art! The tiles are by DarkRoom and the print is the work of graphic artist, Tom Pigeon; you’d be forgiven for thinking that they were by the same designer.
Both the tiles and the wall art are deceptively simple; just dark grey circles, rectangles, triangles and a few other basic shapes. However, the pattern and composition of those shapes combine to make something so pleasing.
