Hey, Adelle…. I’m going on a glass-blowing course on Saturday, and have been spending hours (and I mean hours) on the net looking at contemporary glass artists….the last one I came across was The Woods (different colours), which I adore…. you got there WAY ahead of me. Can’t wait for my course, but expecting to come back (when it’s cooled), a few blobs, perhaps a paperweight, but who knows 🙂 xxx
Exciting! In my teens, on a family holiday I was taken on a visit to a glass-blowing workshop on the Isle of Wight. It was the only thing on that sulky holiday that I enjoyed! 🙂
You’ll have to post photos of your masterpiece when you’re allowed to take it home.
On another note, were you caught up in the World Cup hysteria on Sunday? Bet the atmosphere was amazing!
I will post a photo of my blob of glass 🙂 Yeah, it was nuts here, but I stayed home with Nico cos she hates crowds and noise, and fireworks!! My sister was visiting too though. Return to Berlin was a disaster though, dodgy as he’ll in my book! ‘Gauchogate’ is being played down, but ruined it for me! Some players are just idiots! Or, as claimed by many, ‘badly advised’ / just high jinks… Dodgy and racist if you ask me!!! Put a damper on the whe thing!
Btw – love your description: ‘that sulky holiday’
