  1. It’s hard to imagine now, given how hot and sunny it is, but in a few months time a warm, colourful tartan blanket will be an essential accessory at home, whether it’s over my knees whilst I’m watching TV or adding that extra layer of insulation in bed at night. I’ve been known to wrap myself up in a blanket as I potter about the house in the dead of winter, so a cheery Buchanan tartan rug would be ideal!

  2. For my legs – whether sitting or with feet up on sofa, I have a circulation problem – legs and feet are always cold even in a heatwave legs knee downwards & feet are cold.

  3. I would put it at the bottom of the bed so when I wake in the middle of the night cold, I can pull it up,and fall asleep, again.

  4. These are lovely, in summer I would use it for picnics with the family and in winter for snuggling on the sofa

  5. I’d keep it in the car all the time. I would use it for picnics during the summer and it would form part of my emergency winter kit if I get trapped during the snow.

  6. I’d use it for snuggling up in front of the telly when it gets colder. In the meantime I’d put it on the wicker chair in my bedroom. They look really lovely 🙂

  7. I love to have a blanket by my armchair in the colder months, just so lovely to snuggle under it when I feel chilly.

  8. A cosy tartan blanket would be perfect for our camping holiday in Scotland this month. The days can be lovely but the nights certainly get a little chilly.

  9. They’re so pretty!!

If I won one then I’d use it as a throw on my sofa …. I already have a couple in the living room, but there is no such thing as too many throws!! 😀 xx

  10. i would use it all the time in autumn/winter when sitting on the sofa watching tv, reading and for extra warmth when i’m in bed. also would look lovely on my sofa x

  11. I’d use it as a picnic blanket in the summer and i’d use it to keep me warm watching tv in the winter

  12. Great for the unpredictable Scottish weather. I would use it as a picnic blanket to take to Loch Lomond and if it gets cold it can convert into a wrap!

  13. off to see shakespeare in the park, we would start by putting the picnic on the blanket, then use it to keep us warm later on

  14. I’d use it as a picnic blanket for my wee garden and in the Winter I’d put it in my other half’s car for cold trips back up North.

  15. I would use a tartan blanket to cuddle under on a cold snowy winter day with my fiancee, a film and a hot chocolate.

  16. I have an old, but comfy chair in my conservatory that I sit in to read and I would pop it on that.

  17. I would use it for those cold winter months when me and my little boys can snuggle in front of the television

  18. In the Summer: for impromptu picnics, and in the Winter: draped over the foot of the bed ready for those extra-cold nights.

  19. We’re looking at a blanket to take with us on our days out n about – either to keep us warm or to use when we have a picnic (to go in what we call our glamping bag) which contains paper napkins, plates, mozzy spray etc. I should have been in the boy scouts with a motto of “be preared”. I would probably want to burchase anotheer piece of fabric to make a matching new glamping bag or a handbag

  20. We have a really ancient sofa with a really ancient blanket draped over it. I would use this lovely blanket to replace the ancient one!

  21. I’d take it in the car. My boyfriend’s car’s heating is rubbish and I always get chilly legs! This would be perfect for days out both in and out of the car – picnics and long walks 🙂

  22. I would use it as a magic carpet for my little grandaughter to fly off on adventures on, as a family picnic blanket, a snuggle cover to hide under on winter nights and as a tent cover over the washing screen for secret ganghut meetings

  23. This beautiful blanket would be kept in my living room at arms reach for when I get cold or want to snuggle up on the sofa with Hudson my lovely doggy. I adore blankets they can make a room.

  24. I’d wrap it around me in the car to keep me warm in winter while I’m waiting to collect my child from school.

  25. It would either be a picnic blanket on a nice day or something to warm me up at an outdoor concert on a bad day – either way it would be a very welcome prize.

  26. I’d use it as a snuggly throw in our living room. We need a bit of a colour injection into our decor and we’ve also started feeling chilly at night, but are reluctant to switch the heating on yet because we’re adamantly clinging on to it still being summer!

  27. I would use it to keep myself warm in the colder weather and I am sure my lovely grandaughter will also be using it too when I have her we can snuggle up and play games.
