With all the recent sunny days, we’ve been spending a lot of time pottering in the garden – and according to the Met Office – the rain-free days are set to continue! We’ve already had to start the daily watering of some of our thirstier potted plants. It would be such a pleasurable experience doing it with this golden garden hose! Garden Glory is a Swedish company and doesn’t ship abroad but you can get one from Barbed, their UK distributor.

Fingers crossed there won’t be a hosepipe ban this year!

Our poor MacBook gets an absolute hammering. We’re blogging, emailing, listing, uploading, social media-ing sometimes up to 15 hours per day… every day. With all that finger tapping (and the occasional canine pawing!) the keyboard gets filthy.

We could do with getting ourselves a cup of this Cyber Clean Home and Office. The contents look like a cross between silly putty and slime (showing my age here!). Apparently, all you do is squelch the contents into your keyboard and it extracts all the crumbs, dust, dirt and other various detritus that find their way beneath the keys. It’s reusable, it cleans, disinfects and a few people in their reviews commented on the nice fresh smell it leaves behind. It’s also good for your mobile and land-line phones, remote controls, speakers, games consoles & controllers and anywhere with little nooks & crannies.

We’re suckers for bright, bold-printed bedding and this Bananas quilt cover really knocked us out. It’s from the Kip & Co‘s autumn/winter 2013 Fruit Salad collection. The collection can be mixed, matched and clashed in an explosion of pattern & colour!

If you’ve been following our Cakes & Bakes posts recently you’ll know that I made a batch of baguettes a fortnight or so ago. I proved them in an accordion-pleated tea towel but a baguette tray would be so much better – much less fiddly.

We visit the Lake District a few times per year and a highlight of my car journey there is stopping off at Booths Supermarket in Windermere (Pathetic? Moi?). They stock lots of things from local producers and sell other items that aren’t available at our local Morrisons in Todmorden. A stones throw from Booths is Lakeland‘s flagship store which is the highlight of my return journey home. This baguette tray is already on my shopping list!
