Their post-Christmas sale is one of the most famous ones around – crowds of people queue up for hours then jostle to get through the doors, dashing to grab the best bargains. There’s always a celeb in attendance to open the sale – Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, Amanda Holden, Florence & the Machine…

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without copious amounts of chocolate. Here’s a pick & mix of our choosing!
We were saddened at the demise last year of the chain of Habitat shops; a veteran of so many of the UK’s high streets & shopping centres. The good news is that three of its stores – including the flagship on Tottenham Court Road – and its website are still up & running.
