I used to put a scrunchie in my hair when I went to bed. I’ve now graduated to wearing a bonnet to help my hair remain less frizzy and tangled overnight. What I really want is a silk scarf.
Since researching and blogging about a couple of silk products; I’m a complete convert. Silk provides less friction than cotton or polyester, as well as saps less of the natural oils from your hair. This means that hair glides over the material thus reducing static, frizz and tangles. Wearing your hair in a silk scarf also helps reduce the incidence of split ends.
The scarf would have to be the right size square, so it can be folded into a triangle and fit all my hair inside.
I whiled away lots of time searching out the perfect specimen from a huge range of square silk scarves. I came away with these three as my favourites; I’m actually awaiting the arrival of #1; I ordered the pretty floral one, top left.
