Arline Fisch is an American artist, jeweller and author. Much of her work is created by crocheting coloured, copper, silver or gold wire into sculptural, organic shapes. The piece above is entitled Corals – part of an amazing series she produced depicting jellyfish, sea anemones and other sea creatures.

  1. Here's the funny thing about these. They can only be done by crocheting, not by knitting. Something about the way the stitches are connected. There's someone who has made entire coral reefs from crocheted wool yarns.
