We normally do our Charity Vintage posts on a Saturday but we just had to share this beautiful vintage tiled top table! If we left telling you about it until then you’d only have a day to bid on it.

It’s being sold in support of The Benjamin Foundation* who are based in Holt, North Norfolk – another of our favourite places to visit!

*The Benjamin Foundation was founded in 1994 and exists to help people in Norfolk deal with many of the challenges that life throws at them whether ‘everyday’ issues such as childcare or heartbreaking problems like abuse or homelessness

There are 2 pairs of these fantastic vintage op art curtains for sale on eBay for Charity this week. 100% of the final price goes to Age UK South Lakeland* (one of our favourite parts of the country!). If you’re not after a pair of curtains (each pair is being sold as a separate lot) the fabric would be great for turning into cushions, a bedspread/duvet cover, tablecloth or even a dress or skirt! Each curtain measures a very generous 61 inches long by 67 inches wide.

*Age UK South Lakeland offers help and support to older people living in the rural community of South Lakeland, enabling them to retain their independence and choice. They have: A commitment to volunteering and campaigning and providing services to all people aged over 50.

This vintage William Lawrence sideboard is for sale this week in support of St Vincent Support Centre*. They always have lots of quality vintage items on sale (we’ve featured their items a fair few times) so if you’re in & around the Leeds area it’s a good idea to add them to your eBay ‘favourite sellers’.

A vintage teak sideboard always looks magnificent in a sitting room. It’s a really useful piece of furniture – great for storage and showing off your vintage glass or pottery collections.

*St Vincent’s is part of the international charity, the St Vincent de Paul Society, and exists to promote self-sufficiency by building bridges of support and creating opportunities that enhance the quality of life for those deprived of income, employment, education, social networks and community support. They offer a wide range of services to people who need it most, including free debt advice, counselling, free adult learning, and volunteering/training placements for unemployed and adults with special needs.
