This week, I’ve had to embed a pair of Instagram photos so you get a wider view of Hannah’s fab olive green kitchen. Olive green has long been a favourite colour of ours – so much so it’s in our H is for Home logo & branding!
The room isn’t just eye candy either, it’s really practical & usable. A lot of thought has obviously gone into its design. We often repeat the adage on here, “A place for everything, and everything in its place”.
The DIY painted shelf stores all the drinking vessels together; they’re to hand but, at the same time, up and out of the way of the worktops. The mugs – which Hannah sourced on her world travels – are just where she needs them most, right above the coffee machine and water carbonator.
There’s more shelving (you can never have too much shelving in the kitchen, in my opinion!), this time housing the wine rack, bread bin and cook book collection.
I’m a little in love with that matte olive green articulated wall lamp. Again, it’s just where it’s needed, above the workspace with the kitchen knives and chopping boards – task lighting at its finest.
