Dani has created herself and her family a stunningly striking hallway. Dark and dramatic yet, at the same time, wonderfully practical.
The storage console is perfect for handling those ‘just through the door’ items. Keys, phone, loose change, post, shoes and the like. You wouldn’t know all that paraphernalia was there, though. It would be hidden away neatly in the ample drawer space and storage boxes.
I love the statement pieces – the corrugated floor lamp, the wall hanging and the prickly cactus. They form a triptych of colour, shape, texture and interest.
The herringbone parquet floor is wonderful; warm and beautiful, not to mention, hard-wearing. Just what’s needed for such a high-traffic area.
