There’s so much that we like in this stylish greytone kitchen. Firstly, the huge folding doors out to the garden letting in loads of light. Next, that almost endless bank of floor to ceiling storage space. Also, the large breakfast bar where you can sit and grab a quick snack, do some work or have a drink and socialise with friends and family.
As well as being gorgeous to look at and be in, the kitchen is a hugely practical space. The dark grey (sprayed a colour-match of Farrow & Ball’s Off Black) IKEA kitchen doors means that fingerprints, streaks and smudges are hard to spot. In addition, the lack of handles means that the flush, vertical expanse is quick & easy to wipe down and keep clean. Something that’s essential in a home like this where there are young kids.
The worktops and kitchen island are in a lovely contrasting white with grey marble effect – they’re made from a hard-wearing and stain resistant quartz, which is also easy to keep spick & span!
