It’s the last few days of the annual National Chip Week. We had our stipulated portion on Wednesday from one of our local chippies. I’d really miss chips on a desert island! Golden brown slices of hot fried potato (only Maris Piper or King Eddies will do ), steam rising, freshly sprinkled with lots of salt & vinegar.
Faced with yet another coconut, the craving would build & build – and I’d eventually go mad!! Fortunately, I don’t plan on getting shipwrecked any time soon – so here are our essentials for perfect home made gourmet chips.
