I’d take my husband, my sister and her husband. Every year my sister rents a cottage for herself and her disabled husband and I can’t afford to do the same back. This would give me the opportunity to give them a holiday for a change and they could choose the location!
A short stay in Gosport on the south coast close to Portsmouth would be nice, and after that I’d set off on the ferry from Portsmouth to visit family in France.

I would like to go to Aberdeenshire. I grew up (many years ago!) on an Aberdeenshire farm. We had a very traditional style of farm house for the area built in granite with Dorma windows. Skyes cottages has a very similar farmhouse just a few miles away. It would be a lovely opportunity to relive memories.
