Anthropomorphic furniture is nothing new; they always make a statement with their presence. There are some classic designs out there – for example, the Mae West Lips Sofa by Salvador Dalí and Allen Jones’ controversial Hatstand, Table and Chair.
The three other examples we’ve picked out are also eye-catching conversation starters. My favourite is the willowy Monroe lamp; she reminds me of an Alberto Giacometti sculpture. There’s a matching, equally stunning console table available too.
