  1. No, we manage to get a Costco shop in before everything went mad, we do one every couple of months, so stocked up on meat and other bits, then just go to the shops for top up bits

  2. Ive been going out to the shop, because i cannot get a delivery slot online, ive tried all the supermarkets but with no luck

  3. I normally rely on my online delivery service, but I’ve not been able to get a single slot for weeks. I should be avoiding all contact due to my autoimmune disease but unfortunately have had no choice but to go to the shops. I’ve actually had to go more than i normally would too, because of selfish people who’ve been stockpiling goods. I had been using pocket tissues as I’d not been able to get toilet roll for weeks.

  4. I waited until midnight when all the new slots for the next day come up. There was still 41,000 in front off me. I gave up and went to Aldi; the wait was only about 15mins, the shelves were well stocked and everything was being done as safely as possible. I’d recommend it to everyone.

  5. we are lucky to live very close to a supermarket so have avoided doing online shopping in order to allow other more vulnerable people to use those slots. We have been going to the shop at very most once a week and try to avoid it unless we really need something.

  6. We’ve been trying to get online deliveries but they’ve stopped now. I’m a key worker so trying to get what’s needed at the end of work but it’s hard work.

  7. I managed to get an Asda delivery slot, but cancelled it when I was able to get everything in store.

  8. We have had no end of problems trying to order online, the lack of slots, the limits on how many items can be bought, most things being out of stock! We have 8 children so not your average size weekly shop at the best of times, only made harder now by all the above!

  9. Ive managed to get one ocado order but as i only started using them in Jan they dont consider me a priority customer and nw i cant get any more deliveries which is annoying as i have autoimmune disease and diabetes so am trying to limit my contact and trips outside

  10. I don’t need to buy goods online really, as I have an Aldi and a Lidl basically on my doorstep and Sainsbury’s, M&S, Co-op and Home Bargains are only a 5 to 10 minute away too, I try and go late in the evening when it is less people

  11. Luckily we have someone who drives in the household,

we just do a weekly shop and havent ordered anything online yet

  12. I had a problem for getting a delivery slot on Tesco’s to start with, but now I have a dalivery once a fortnight.

  13. I’ve not been able to find a slot anywhere they’re all full so having to go to the nearest supermarket

  14. I managed to get a delivery from Iceland. Luckily for me my partner is still working and he works nights in a supermarket which has 3 days of the week where colleagues can shop before the store opens to customers. Theres a limit of £30 shop, but we’ve been managing to get everything we need this way 🙂

  15. I have always had a weekly shop, every sunday. But since lockdown I have really struggled to get one. I pay for a smart pass too, but I am not getting my moneys worth that’s for sure. I managed to book one recently but not until the 10th May. My husband has been going out to the local supermarket though.

  16. I leave home delievery for those in need. My sister works for Asda home delivery and the satff are under enough pressure. I go out once a week at times i know it will be less busy.

  17. Booking a slot is the most difficult thing but I have been checking for available slots across all the supermarkets and Managing to get one every other week!

  18. We had a nightmare trying to get any online deliveries we’ve had one since it started for iceland. You have to que just to check if theres a slot free.
