How to transform your bathroom into a 5 star hotel en suite

When you get the chance to visit a luxury hotel it’s often an experience that should not be missed, as there’s nothing more inspiring than seeing the time and effort that has been put into designing such a unique and stylish space that can bowl over each and every guest that books a room. The en suite of a luxury hotel is likely such a quality aesthetic that you may never have seen anywhere else in the past, as all of the potential added extras with no expense spared is usually the name of the game for 5 star stays.

You can expect to be greeted with double sinks perfect for couples, grand mirrors that allow you to see head to toe or glistening bold colours and patterns to grab your attention – if these features sound like the kind of things you want to have in your bathroom then you’re in luck, as this guide contains everything that you need to know to build the most amazing luxe hotel style bathroom that will surpass your wildest expectations! Read on to discover more.

Find some inspiration

It can be a little tricky trying to figure out where to start when you’re planning a luxe bathroom revamp, but the best idea is to search for inspiration online, in magazines or even in person by booking yourself in for a stay at an expensive 5 star hotel! You can craft your own unique mood board that contains a variety of colours, textures, furnishings and fixtures to help you to start making the biggest decisions, and you can then gain the opportunity to compare different accessories and colour swatches to see whether they’ll actually match successfully inside your new bathroom or simply look out of place.

Get creative with unique features

Getting creative with unique features is another great way to create a stand-out hotel bathroom, as you need to include some eye-catching and unusual design decisions if you want your bathroom to be as memorable as can be. For example, installing tiling with coloured grout is an excellent choice to make, as this is something that isn’t found often and can no doubt help to take your en suite to a whole new level.

Spare no expense

An essential feature of a luxurious hotel en suite is the fact that no expense has been spared during its design and construction, and this is something that should be reflected in your home’s new aesthetic too. Investing in designer wallpaper will no doubt take your room’s style value through the roof, but trying to save money by scrimping on things like taps and door handles will have a dramatic effect on the overall feel of your bathroom. Take your time to find the most suitable option for each and every little detail, and don’t be afraid to splash some cash every now and then on a solid investment piece such as a cast iron radiator or a piece of brilliant bathroom artwork. For instance, investing in small details like your bathroom sealant can change the entire appearance of the space. Allowing an expert team to complete the task such as the London Mastic Company will guarantee 5-star results.

A big, deep copper bath is one of the things I’d love in my dream bathroom. Another is a large walk-in shower with a Crittall-type glass screen. This glamorous en suite bathroom has both of those.

The huge room is bathed in sunlight that comes flooding through the roof window. You can lie in the bath gazing up to the sky!

And that floor… the optical illusion pattern of the tiles makes your eyes and brain do funny things!
