We’ve got a lovely copper Christmas tree that gets brought out every year. It has lots of shimmering, sparkly baubles and integral copper lights. Alas, the lights have just gone kaput! Where does that phrase come from? We need to look that up. Anyway, we digress.
We don’t want to throw the entire tree away, so we’re on the hunt for some new copper fairy lights. We’ve got some white ones that have stepped into the breach temporarily, but they’re not as effective. We love fairy lights in the winter – and currently have about 6 sets dotted around the house.
When our new copper variety has finished its Christmas duties on the tree, it can then decorate our dark grey top floor loungy-bedroom – and add to the numerous, already present, copper highlights.
