The colourful multifunctional family room above belongs to Evros and Susie Agathou, the owners of London-based Avocado Sweets Interior Design Studio. We first discovered them on Houzz and have followed their bright, often playful designs for quite a while.

They use a combination of vintage and contemporary furniture, creating spaces in which you want to live, work and play.

Isn’t this a lovely space? A bright, double-height, open-plan family room. Brilliant white floor, ceiling and walls with huge windows and sliding doors that flood the place with light and bring the outside in without compromising on privacy.
