This country cottage kitchen can be found in a beautiful Victorian house in a Suffolk village. It belongs to USA-born Ambrice, her British husband, Ben (aka ‘The Lumberjack’) and Theo, the cutest poodle you’ve ever seen.
Like the rest of the house, this kitchen is a proper grown ups’ space. You can tell that they take their home cooking and entertaining very seriously. The Lacanche range is a substantial bit of cooking kit – I’m only an itty bit jealous! I love how they’ve up-cycled a wooden school workbench to form a useful and practical kitchen island / breakfast bar. They’ve topped it with a re-purposed stainless steel work surface that can take any rough treatment you can through at it including hot pans, sharp knives and stain-causing equipment.
Take a browse through Ambrice’s squares to see the evolution of their wonderful country cottage kitchen.
