It’s National Picnic Week this week. We love heading out for a walk with a rucksack packed with the newspaper, sandwiches, a flask of tea, chocolate biscuits and perhaps a pork pie for Justin to share with Fudge. We have a couple of secret, off-the-beaten-track picnic spots where we while away the time listening to the sounds of moorland streams, birds and sheep. Hours can go by without us seeing another soul.

It also happens to be the summer solstice this week; hopefully there’ll be glorious sunshine so that both can be enjoyed to the full!
