We’ve been using the same brand of aluminium free deodorant for about a decade now; however, with a growing awareness of the amount of plastic and non-recyclable materials that pass through our hands, we want to make positive changes where possible.
Refillable deodorants allow you to purchase the initial case – whether made from recycled plastic or aluminium – and then simply buy the deodorant to pop into it. Seeing as we already use stick deodorants, those are the ones that we’re going to feature here. However, there are also a range of refillable sprays on the market.
Many of the refillable deodorants available can be had as either a one off purchase or as a subscription service. Usually, the latter allows you to pause, restart and cancel the subscription to suit your needs.
