Win a My Passport Ultra!

Win a WD My Passport Ultra external hard drive with H is for Home

You may remember back in March of this year, we reviewed the Western Digital My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive. Well, for our June competition starting today, we have a brand new one to give away to one of our readers.

You can use this handy portable drive to transfer, backup and save all your digital files from your smart phone, tablet or PC. Free up precious space and keep your smart devices running lightning fast, safe in the knowledge that your data won’t be catastrophically lost or wiped.

In order to enter, all you need to do is tell us in the comments section below which of your digital files mean the most to you. For me, it’s all the photos I’ve taken over the years of Mr H and Fudge our Weimaraner. 💕

Get pinning with TeacherBoards!

Win a rainbow felt board from Teacherboards with H is for Home

A couple of months ago, we featured a TeacherBoards combi-board in one of our posts. We named it as our favourite because of its funky tangerine colour.

Today, we’re pleased to be able to offer one of our readers one of their rainbow felt boards as the prize in this month’s competition.

Take a scoot over to their website to have a look at the ‘rainbow’ of colours they’re available in, then come back to tell us in the comments section below which one you’d like to win and what you’d pin on it.

As usual, in addition to leaving a comment, there are a lot of other ways of entering the competition… and increasing your chance of winning!

Looking for the perfect companion?

Manor companion set from DirectFireplaces | H is for Home

Even though it’s been a relatively mild winter, our wood-burning stoves have been chuffing away for months. They produce enough heat to make a room comfortable without needing to put the central heating on. And, on really chilly days, they just give things a boost. A real fire also brings a room to life – flickering and crackling away, becoming the focal point. We couldn’t be without ours!

The three versions of the Manor companion set available at DirectFireplaces

It’s essential that a real fire has some fireside tools, so we’re pleased to be able to offer one of our readers a Manor companion set from DirectFireplaces. The set comprises dust pan, brush, log roller and pair of tongs on a metal stand. It’s available in 3 different finishes – black, black/pewter and black/brass. Because of its classic styling, it would look great in either a traditional or modern room.

To enter, just tell us in the comments section at the bottom of this page who or what is your perfect fireside companion. Very best of luck!

Divine Chocolate Fairtrade Fortnight competition | H is for Home

Fairtrade Fortnight logoThis month, we’re linking up with Divine Chocolate to commemorate Fairtrade Fortnight which began yesterday. It runs until 13 March and shines a spotlight on all the farmers around the world who are now thriving thanks to them receiving fair prices for their crops.

Divine is one of a growing number of companies who only use fairly traded ingredients in their products. Not only this, the company is 44% owned by the cocoa farmers so they receive a direct share of the profits.

If you like chocolate (and who doesn’t?) you can enter to win one of Divine’s tasting hampers – gift boxed & filled with 13 bars of delectable deliciousness! Even if you don’t like chocolate, you can still enter and, if you win, you can give it to a loved one as a present and score some (chocolate) brownie points!

Simply leave us a comment below telling us what is your favourite type of Divine Chocolate.
