Thanks to COVID-19, it’s been a very, very long time since we’ve added any items to our webshop. We’ve just started venturing out again on stock buying trips and will be listing fresh vintage homeware items all this week.

Elegant birds have been flying their way back into fashionable interiors in recent times. Just in the past fortnight or so, we featured a fabulous heron print wallpaper from Gucci and a stunning handmade stork mural on our blog.
Today, we’re going to share with you a trio of cranes homeware that we’ve found available online. Long-legged birds such as storks, herons, egrets and cranes are graceful and elegant – much like catwalk supermodels.
Many of them feature in fairy tales & folklore around the world; storks are often depicted delivering newborn babies, flying overhead, carrying them in blankets in their beaks. Cranes can be found in Chinese, Japanese, Greek and Arabic mythology. They symbolise youth, longevity, joy and good fortune; just the kinds of thing you want to welcome into your home!
