18TH CENTURY OAK CHILD'S ROCKING CHAIR

The Winter Fine Art Catalogue Sale will be held by Hutchinson Scott Auctioneers, who are located in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

Browsing through their catalogue, there are some super lots; many unusual and rare finds. Items span the years; from a 20th century Whitefriars vase to an 18th century child’s rocking chair.

There’ll be 1,203 lots up for sale across three days:

There’s an pair of exquisite cufflinks made by Fabergé (for that notorious “man who has everything”), a pair of bat sconces that would look perfect on the wall of a Gothic themed hallway and an exceptional lay figure that has an estimate of 4-6 thousand that we think will sell for much more.

Boxed Wedgwood The Jasper ware tea pot collection

The Potteries Auctions Ltd‘s Three Day Auction of Collectables and Antiques takes place on Thursday 10th – Saturday 12th November 2022 from 10am each day.

There are 1971 lots for sale in total; huge numbers of Bunnykins figures and serveware, Beswick animals and Royal Doulton figures. These are perhaps a little bit ‘knick-knacky’ for most people, but there are some quite rare examples if it’s your thing.

We’ve picked out a few mid-century and Deco items that appealed to us to share below. As you’ll see, I’m quite partial to the odd bit of Jasperware.

Henley-on-Thames based auction house, The Pedestal, will be holding their Fine Interiors sale on Tuesday 8th November, 2022 at 1pm.

We’ve highlighted a particular lot – a large Victorian pine shop centre counter. We’ve included it because, in a previous post, we suggested that they’re perfect for repurposing as an island in a free-standing kitchen.
